According to the Lansdale Reporter, on Tuesday (November 23) Montgomery County’s Democratic Commissioners, Val Arkoosh and Ken Lawrence authorized a financial “incentive” for county employees to get vaccinated against the novel coronavirus.
To get the bonus, county employees have to show proof that they are fully vaccinated.
Since October 18, Montco employees have been required to be vaccinated or get tested weekly.
In September, when Arkoosh and Lawrence were getting ready to implement the vaccine mandate, and were contemplating the $150 bonus, Republican Commissioner Joe Gale wrote a letter to The Reporter, describing the mandate as a “tyrannical decision.”
