Last week, CBS-3 reporter Vittoria Woodill visited Ardmore Music Hall and spoke with the owner, and head booker, Chris Perella. He described how there was feeling of eerieness from having an empty hall at the beginning of the pandemic, but “as time went on, getting into the spring, we started to have a lot of positive momentum, despite the lack of crowd, because we had a plan for a bigger picture. We had our production guys in here re-tooling the sound and lighting – every day along the way.
We had our bar and venue management here, analyzing how we can make different nooks and crannies of the room work better. We had our marketing team helping to create that narrative to let people know that there was some excitement and something to look forward to – to look forward to seeing what our newly renovated room looks and feels like, packed full of people.”
