Russ Diamond, a powerful Republican in the Pennsylvania House, is putting pressure on Republicans running for Governor and for the U.S. Senate to support his HB-2013, which he calls The Right to Medical Freedom Amendment.
The Right to Medical Freedom Amendment would remove requirements for all vaccines, including but not limited to Diptheria, Measles, Polio and of course Covid-19.
Part of the amendment reads The right of an individual to refuse any medical procedure, treatment, injection, vaccine or prophylactic may not be
questioned or interfered with in any manner. Some have questioned whether Diamond’s use of the word prophylactic would include the practice of restaurant employees washing their hands after going to the bathroom.
