According to the Montgomery County Covid-19 Data Hub, there are currently more patients hospitalized with Covid than ever before. The 570 county residents currently hospitalized with Covid eclipses the previous high of 546, set on December 14, 2020.
How many of those 570 patients are being treated for the Covid as the primary reason for their hospitalizations is not known. What is known, however, is that on Thanksgiving Day (November 27), only 95 county residents were hospitalized with Covid.
On November 27, the county reported that there were 13 Covid patients on respirators. That number has now jumped to 32.
