By a 3-2 vote, along straight party lines, the Pennsylvania Commonwealth struck down the controversial ACT 77, which enabled “No-Excuse Mail-in Voting.” Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt wrote, one of three Republicans voting in the majority “A constitutional amendment must be presented to the people and adopted into our fundamental law.”
Expect the state to Appeal to the Supreme Court

Thanks for sharing the breaking news, Gerry. Very unfortunate decision; hopefully the PA Supreme Court will reverse it.
One an equally important topic, redistricting, I’ve heard from a reliable source (FairDistrictsPA) that the LRC will be meeting today at 2:00, and is expected to release their revised maps and vote on them. I’ve been checking the LRC’s website regularly and have not seen anything about this meeting. Noting on FDPA’s social media either.
Do you happen to know if this meeting will be taking place?
Look forward to any news you can provide. Thanks for your service to the people of LM and Narberth.
Best regards,
Bill
