Doug Mastriano still has not removed two Re-Tweets of (so-called) Carleton Polling. The first of Mastriano’s Re-Tweets was posted on Saturday (August 20), just a few hours after Carleton Polling created its account on Twitter.
As soon as Carleton released its findings (and Mastriano Re-Tweeted them) showing Mastriano leading Shapiro by 2.1%, several observers noted there was something funny going on.

That same night, somebody who appears to have paid attention when he took Algebra II, figured out – using Carleton’s revised crosstab numbers, that 79.1% of Pennsylvania voters are women.

The Inquirer reported today that – The “pollster” — who would only identify himself as “a high school student from southwestern Connecticut who likes politics” — told Clout in a Twitter message exchange that he created the Twitter account Carleton Polling this month to test a theory about a “double standard” for polling and political parties.
His hypothesis: Republicans attack the credibility of established polling firms that release surveys with results they don’t like but take seriously and push polls even if they “don’t seem legitimate.”
Doug Mastriano recently touted the results of a new “poll” that showed him with a narrow lead over Josh Shapiro.
