It appears that “The Swamp” has gotten the best of Republican Minority County Commissioner, Joe Gale, and that he will not win a third term. Gale trailed the second-place candidate (two candidates will be placed on the November ballot), Tom DiBello, after all the mail votes were counted, by about 1,200 votes. With about 1/3 of the Election Day votes counted, DiBello has widened his lead. So it looks like Gale is about to begin his tenure as a lame duck commissioner.
