Parthenia Izzard

On Tuesday (February 25), supporters of Amanda Cappelletti filed separate objections in Commonwealth Court to the nomination petitions of Elvira Berry and Parthenia Berry.

Cappelletti, Berry and Izzard all filed papers last week with the expecation that they will appear on the ballot in order to unseat incumbent Daylin Leach, who also filed, and is seeking his fourth term representing the 17th District in the State Senate.

The plantiffs opposing Berry’s nomination are June Coleman, Joseph Alexander Brophy and Rachel Aria Chou. Izzard’s nomination is being opposed by Barbara Thomas, Victoria Lenore Brown and Linda A. Tasker.  Timothy Ford of the law firm Dilworth Paxson is representing both groups.

It’s an unapologetically analog event: pens, paper, ink, and the people who still care deeply about them. Whether you’re a serious collector, someone who misses the feel of writing by hand, or just […]
