In what was otherwise a dull affair in which the candidates seemed eager to prove that they could agree with their opponents more than their opponents could, former Narberth Mayor Andrea Deutsch managed to land one good off-the-cuff zinger on Whitemarsh Supervisor Megan Griffin-Shelley.
After Griffn-Shelley bragged that she was “the only candidate who is currently serving as a municipal elected official,” Deutsch retorted, “while I congratulate Megan on her one month in municipal services, I spent a decade in municipal office.”
Within weeks after being elected to a Whitemarsh Supervisor seat for the first time in November, Griffin-Shelley announced her candidacy for the 148th District Pennsylvania House seat.
