Bryn Mawr College Undergrad Sues Prof And School For Sexual Assault

by Gerry

Victor Fiorillo wrote in Phillymag.com on Wednesday (June 9) that –

A young woman has filed a federal lawsuit against former Bryn Mawr College professor David Barreto as well as the school itself, alleging that Barreto, whose legal name is Nelson David Barreto, sexually assaulted and harassed her and other students at the distinguished women’s college.

Baretto had a rating of 5.0 ( the maximum) on the popular website Rate My Professors.

A few students also expressed their affection for Barreto on the Facebook Group Bryn Mawr Crushes.

However, it appears that Jane Doe (the plaintiff) is not the only one on campus who is not a fan of Barreto or the school’s handling of sexual assault claims.

Please spread the Philly Mag article about David Barreto. The @BrynMawrCollege administration knew about him and still allowed him to teach and assault his students. This institution will not protect you in ANY capacity. https://t.co/qqvFKGVPfZ
