Bryn Mawr Film Institute Is Back, Sort of
This past weekend, for the first time in more than a year, The Bryn Mawr Film Institute began showing movies to audiences – in the theater. But the theater will be open only on weekends, and its seating capacity will be limited to 25% of what it normally is.
Will we go back to the theater or keep on streaming?
Stephen Silver writes in BroadstreetReview.com “Many questions about the future of filmgoing remain unanswered. Even after vaccinations, will audiences be comfortable in theaters again? Did American movie fans get so conditioned to streaming and video on demand that they’ll stick with those, even after it’s safe to go back to theaters? We’re likely to get some answers to all those before long.”
I will be back. Nothing like seeing a movie on the big screen. Im vaxxed I am not afraid.
