LMSD Recognizes Indigenous Peoples’ Day, But Not the Township

With posts on Facebook and Twitter, Lower Merion School District officially recognized Indigenous Peoples' Day today; however, schools remained open. A search for the word "Columbus" on the district's website brings up nothing. The township has not yet come around to recognizing Indigenous Peoples' Day, but neither does it recognize Columbus day.
