The surge in the number of Montgomery County residents hospitalized with Covid-19, which began right after Thanksgiving, appears to have peaked. According to the Montgomery County Covid-19 Data Hub, there are currently more patients hospitalized with Covid than ever before. The 570 county residents currently hospitalized with Covid eclipses the previous high of 546, set on December 14, 2020.
