by Gerry

The Bryant Gym at Lower Merion High School will be packed and rocking on Tuesday night (January 24, 7:00 PM) when the Radnor Raptors Boys Basketball Team will put their unbeaten record (15-0) on the line against the once-beaten Lower Merion Aces (15-1).

At 10-0, Radnor leads the Central League. Lower Merion is in second place with a record of 9-1.

Lower Merion’s only loss was to Haverford.

On December 8, the Aces woke up late in the game against Haverford. When Lower Merion finally decided to play the way Lower Merion is capable of playing, they quickly erased a 13-point Haverford lead, only to lose at the end by two. Haverford, meanwhile, has gone on to lose to six other teams in the Central League, including Radnor and Harriton.

Radnor did have close call against Garnet Valley on January 7, a game the Raptors managed to win in overtime. Lower Merion beat Garnet Valley on December 16, 68-59.

It’s an unapologetically analog event: pens, paper, ink, and the people who still care deeply about them. Whether you’re a serious collector, someone who misses the feel of writing by hand, or just […]
