Covid Spikes In Montco, Lower Merion And Narberth

Like everywhere else, Covid-19 cases are rising across Montgomery County, and that includes Lower Merion and even Narberth.

Incidence Rate Lower Merion and Narberth

This graph shows the number of cases per 100,000 population. The red line is Lower Merion, the blue line is Narberth. Lower Merion’s population is around 60,000. So if the chart shows Lower Merion has an incidence rate 100/100,000, that means for the two-week period, the township had 60 cases. 

Narberth’s population is around 5,000. So if Narberth is showing 50/100,000 for the last two weeks, that means Narberth had 2.5 cases.

Montgomery County, new positives daily – In July the county was averaging around 50 new positives per day. On Sunday (November 15) there were 345 new cases.

Montco Hospitalized and on Ventilators

The upper line shows total Covid-19 hospitlizations in Montgomery County. The lower line shows total cases on ventilators.

Positivity Rate LM and Narberth

This graph shows the positivity rate.  The red line is Lower Merion and the blue line is Narberth. The positivity rate is calculated by dividing the number of positive Covid-19 cases by the number of tests administered.
