Dems Could Have Easily Prevented Joe Gale From Getting Elected.
Joe Gale won re-election in 2019 by coming in third, ahead of fellow Republican Fred Conner, by 5,847 votes, thereby taking “the minority position” on the Montgomery County Board of Commissioners. But Gale trailed second place finisher, Democrat Ken Lawrence by 50,224 votes.
So if Democrats could have arranged for 3,000 of their party members in Montco to vote for Conner instead Democrat Val Arkoosh; and 3,000 of their party members to to vote for Conner instead of Lawrence; neither Arkoosh, nor Lawrence would have in any jeopardy of losing, and the Democrats wouldn’t have Joe Gale to kick around any more.
