Does Dasha Pruett Think She’s Still Running In The Republican Primary?

Does Dasha Pruett Think She’s Still Running In The Republican Primary?

Does she think that tweeting Sarah Palin’s Endorsement is going to help her beat Mary Gay Scanlon in November?

Sarah Palin calls Dasha the "Socialism Slayer" https://t.co/7RsFmUhy41 @SarahPalinUSA @GOP @HouseGOP #vote2020 #socialismslayer #vote4dasha pic.twitter.com/fZimlYaawx

Or maybe Pruett suffers no delusions about actully flipping the 5th Congressional District.

In 2016, Hillary Clinton won CD-5 by 28.2%. Pruett is trying to unseat incumbent Democrat, Mary Gay Scanlon. Scanlon actually improved on Clinton’s performance, winning the district in 2018 by 30.4%.

So why, in this overwhelmingly “Blue” district, is Dasha Pruett trying to remind everybody that she has the support of Sarah Palin?

Could it be that Pruett just playing the role of the dutiful sacrificial lamb, by trying to rally the base in order to help the top of the ticket minimize the inevitable Democratic win in CD-5?

f you’re looking for a break from screens, alerts, and endless scrolling, the Philly Pen Show might be the cure—at least temporarily. It’s an unapologetically analog event: pens, paper, ink, and the people who still care deeply about them. Whether you’re a serious collector, someone who misses the feel of writing by hand, or just […]
