The New Art And Design Center Of Harcum College Looks Like An Art School, Even From The Outside.

Late this summer, Bryn Mawr based Harcum College “set up shop” in a building designed by the acclaimed architectural firm of Mitchell/Giurgola

Constructed in 1972, and located on what is now the campus of Jack M. Barrack Hebrew Academy, the building was originally part of the American College of Financial Services.

According to the Harcum website “The generous grounds, the ponds, the native wildlife and water fowl and surrounding trees and flora offer a natural classroom for photography and graphic design students.” And that’s actually a fairly accurate description.
