It’s On! Lower Merion Vs. Harriton – This Wednesday Afternoon
Aces host Radnor on Saturday. Rams face Ridley (with two days rest) on Friday Night.
Even though their original Covid-shortened schedules called for both teams to play five Central League opponents this season – but not each other; the Gods of Logistics have managed to cut through the red tape.
Kickoff for the Township Bragging Rights Bowl is now set for 4:30 PM, Wednesday afternoon (November 18), at Harriton.
Sadly, as of right now, only the players’ families will be permitted to attend the game.

On Saturday (November 14), in a game played at Lower Merion, the Aces lost to Upper Darby, 28-14. It was only game that either Harriton or Lower Merion played this year that was even remotely competive. But this one actually had a little drama. Lower Merion trailed the Royals by only seven points, with fewer than five minutes left in the game.
In the four games that Harriton has played this season, they have been outscored 195-13. Prior to Upper Darby game, Lower Merion had been outscored 118-13.
Last year, on September 27, Harriton beat Lower Merion, 20-0. The win for Harriton ended a 44 game league losing streak that dated back to the 2014 season. Lower Merion’s last league win was in 2018, against Harriton.
