Just hours before tonight’s Montgomery County Democratic Committee (MCDC) Endorsement Meeting, Jamie Mogil announced that she is withdrawing her name from consideration for the Senate seat in Pennsylvania’s 17th District.
She called for “gathering our strength behind one candidate to make sure we deliver the progressive change to Harrisburg that we deserve.”
There are still five other “challengers” as well as incumbent Daylin Leach, seeking the party’s endorsement tonight.
Mogil will not be attending the meeting tonight, and she has not indicated which if any of Leach’s five challengers she would prefer to see win the endorsement.
