Lower Merion resident Jeff Bartos officially launched his campaign for U.S. Senate today. Bartos is a real estate developer. In 2018 he was the Republican nominee in an unsuccessful for run for Lt. Governor. The Senate seat that Bartos is seeking is currently held by Pat Toomery, is says he is not running for re-election.

As part of his launch, Bartos released a slickly produced video that plays up his role as a co-founder of the Pennsylvania 30 Day Fund, which raised more than $3 million to distribute as forgivable loans to small businesses in Pennsylvania . 

On Wednesday (March 3), Bartos appeared Tucker Carlson’s show, and touted his involvement in the Pennsylvania 30 Day Fund.

Bartos is among the favorite targets of attack by Montgomery County Republican Commissioner, Joe Gale, who’s brother Sean Gale has also announced that he is seeking the GOP nomination for U.S. Senate. Joe Gale is an announced candidate for Governor.
