Unlike Leith’s living room, where as is the case in almost everybody’s home, Social Distancing is the order of the day, McKinley’s front porch became a tourists’ destination point, drawing 750,000 vistitors during the campaign.
Then again, Leith has an advantage that old William B. could not have even dreamed of. She can take her phone out of her pocket, and in a matter of minutes, fire off a Youtube video that can be instantly distributed via Social Media; but in fairness to Leith, her Fireside Chat, above, obviously shows a lot more than just a few minutes prepartion.
