Montgomery Media reports that Montgomery County’s two Democratic Commissioners, Ken Lawrence and Val Arkoosh, split with Republican Comissioner Joe Gale on a measure that approved a $1.4 millon contract with the Valley Forge Tourism and Convention Board, that tasks the Convention Board with developing an “integrated marketing plan” to encourage 16-30 year-olds to get the Covid-19 Vaccination.
According to Montgomery Media, Gale said he opposed the measure to approve the contract because –
These include minors, and in my opinion, this decision should be left up to the children, and their parents, and also their doctors, and we also know that this age demographic is not in dire need of the vaccination.
