Lower Merion School Board Candidate Appears on Sebastian Gorka (America First) Show

Perese for School Board!https://t.co/wYSZQyMeIk

— Republican Committee of Lower Merion & Narberth (@RepCommLMN) July 6, 2023

On Thursday (July 6), the Republican Committee of Lower Merion Narberth Tweeted a link to an appearance by Gerald Perese, Jr. on Sebastian Gorka’s show, America First. Perese is one of five Republicans running for the Lower Merion School Board. Gorka has been an ally of Donald Trump and endorsed the former president’s claim that the 2020 election was stolen.

Cites the Wolk Refund

Perese told Gorka that the refund he received from the school district’s settlement of the Arthur Wolk lawsuit tipped him “over the edge” with respect to his interest in the workings of the school board.

When asked by Gorka, “Is the issue for you fiscal mismanagement, or is it more than that?” Perese responded, “Oh, it’s much more than that. They do have the policy in place –  Anti Parental Rights Policy, I’ll call it, where they encourage to keep secrets  with children and keep certain aspects of their school life from the parents, which I do not agree with at all.”

“Does that include transgender, if a child quote, unquote wants to transition – is that what we’re talking about keeping from the parents?” Gorka asked. “I would assume,” Perese said, “it doesn’t have that specific language, but I would assume that’s the main goal, given the times.”

It’s an unapologetically analog event: pens, paper, ink, and the people who still care deeply about them. Whether you’re a serious collector, someone who misses the feel of writing by hand, or just […]
