Lt. Guv’s Wife Talks About Her Own Use Of Medical Marijuana

Thank you! Legal weed changed my life and can help so many others too. After suffering with chronic pain my entire life, my MMJ card gave me hope and relief. #legalizeit https://t.co/9D35h78HEQ

— Gisele Barreto Fetterman (@giselefetterman) August 25, 2020

Gisele Fetterman talked with KDKA Radio host, Robert Mangino on Monday (August 26)

Mangino noted that Fetterman’s public persona is  very upbeat, but that she is a medical marijuana user because she suffers from chronic pain. Fetterman said that “pain is a very real part of my life… but medical marijuana has helped me manage [the pain] in a way that it has improved my quality of life tremendously.”

Fetterman told Mangino that her children know about about her marijuana use. She said that “they don’t see it as a stigma because I’ve taught them that it isn’t.”

According to Triblive.com, Fetterman “suffered a few childhood accidents which she said left her with chronic back pain since age 7.”
