She received 43 contributions totaling $41,574, but the ten
contributions from within the 148th District (excluding her own, her family’s, and money brought over from her 2025 campaign for the Whitemarsh Supervisor campaign) amount to only $4,470.
She also received $2,500 from Committee For Better Government, and Committee For A Better Government – single-donor PACs that have contributed more than $1,000,000 to Democratic and Republican politicians in Bucks and Montgomery Counties.
Committee for Good Government was among Griffin-Shelley’s larger donors for the 148th District Race. Since 2020, the Committee for Good Government has contributed $649,701 to Democratic Candidates in Montgomery and Bucks Counties.
They have been particularly generous with Jason Salus, Montgomery County Democratic Committee (MCDC) Chair. Friends of Jason Salus received $5,000 from “Good Government” in 2025. Before that, he received annual donations from them ranging from $1,000 to $2,500 every year since 2018. The total amount “Good Government” donated to Salus is $20,000. MCDC has received $84,700 from “Good Government” since 2018.
Who is Committee For Good Government?
According to their most recent filing with the Pennsylvania Department of State, the Treasurer of Committee for Good Government and the committee’s chair are officers of a Bucks County-based civil engineering firm.
Committee For Good Government lists only one contributor – Cherub Group LLC. By no coincidence, the same two members of that Bucks County engineering firm are also listed as officers of the Cherub Group.
Cherub’s largesse is not limited to Democrats.
The LLC is also the sole contributor to Committee For A Better Government. Since 2018, “Better Government” contributed $418,270 to Republicans only.
