On Wednesday night (January 18), a large crowd attended a meeting of the Lower Merion Commissioners’ Police Committee. During public comment, 31 people expressed their disapproval of the Lower Merion Police Department’s handling of a January 8 traffic stop that resulted in a woman being tased by a township police officer.
Joseph (Yossie) Abramson was the only one who stood up to support the police.
