The entire St. Joseph’s Men’s Basketball Program has been put on hold for two weeks because of a positive Covid-19 test result among “Tier 1 Personnel.”
The NCAA defines “Tier 1 Personnel” as “the highest exposure tier and consists of individuals for whom physical distancing and face coverings are not possible or effective during athletic training or competition.”
The Hawks are the second Big 5 team to be placed in quarantine this week because of a positive Covid-19 test. On Thursday (November 26), Temple University announced that its Mens’ Basketball Team was a taking a pause after learning of a positive Covid-19 test within its program.
