Main Line Peace Coalition (MLPC) has announced that on Saturday, 12:30 PM, they will be marching from Cope Field at Haverford College to Suburban Square. MLPC is an umbrella group comprising Haverford Students for Peace, BiCo JVP (Bi College Jewish Voice for Peace) , BiCo SJP (Bi College Students for Justice in Palestine), Swarthmore SJP, MontCo for Palestine and Villanova SJP.
Haverford Students for Peace issued a statement yesterday calling for an immediate ceasefire. Their statement does not call for a return of Hostages taken on October 7 by Hamas. In fact, the statement does not once mention the words hostage or Hamas.
The statement does however, place 100% of the blame for the violence in Gaza on Israel
