The Sweet Mabel Mosaic can be seen on the outside wall at 41 North Narberth Avenue, in Narberth. Beth Warren and Karen Krivit created it, with David Stehman collaborating on the design. The project was completed in August 2008 when Sweet Mabel was still operating in that location.
The store has since moved to 235 Haverford Avenue. Still, the mosaic remains where it’s always been, for the enjoyment of pedestrians, bicyclists and perhaps one day even motorists who might be the crossing the Narberth Avenue Bridge.
