by Gerry

Lower Merion Township stands out with its seven Inc. 5000 companies, indicating a significant cluster of rapidly expanding businesses. Nationally, the average is one Inc. 5000 company for every 66,600 people. However, Lower Merion, with its population of about 64,000, boasts one Inc. 5000 company for every 9,142 residents, exceeding the national average by more than sevenfold.

In the case of Narberth, the concentration of Inc. 5000 companies is even more remarkable. Despite a population of only 4,500, Narberth is home to three Inc. 5000 companies. This translates to one for every 1,500 people—more than six times the per capita rate of Lower Merion and more than 44 times the national average.
