The New Replacement Theory – or Revenge of the RINOS – Democrats And Independents Re-register in Droves as Republicans.

The New Replacement Theory – or Revenge of the RINOs – Democrats And Independents Re-register in Droves as Republicans.

Currently, there are not many people who aspire to be called RINOs. But the best thing that could happen for the defense of democracy would be for tens of millions of Americans to embrace the term,  re-register as Republicans, and proudly join the ranks of a group of people that Donald Trump said “may be the lowest form of human life.”

Democrats – Can you live with yourself knowing that Donald Trump has a higher regard for a group to which you belong, than a whole other form of human life?

Most Republicans might not share the same level of vitriol for those people that Trump expresses, but that does not prevent the overwhelming majority of CURRENT Republicans from wanting to see Trump elected again in 2024.

Trump RINOs

Why should we all beome RINOs?

The obvious reason is so that we can vote for anybody but Trump in 2024 Republican Primary. But there’s more.

Most general elections for Congress and state legislative seats are non-competitive. In the few races where both parties have a fighting chance in the general election, politicians tend to tack to the Right or the Left (Republicans the former, Democrats the latter) for their primaries, and then tack to the center for the general elections. Except now that most elections are “settled” in the primaries, there’s no need for primary-winners to even pretend to reach out for the support of voters in the “other party.”

All of this results in polarization, legislative deadlock and frustration for the majority of voters who are represented by politicians with more extreme agendas than their own.

There is solution to all this.

Democrats and Democrat-Leaning Independents should register as Republicans. Just because you’re registered as a Republican and take part in the Republican Primary, doesn’t mean you have to vote Republican in November.

If everybody would heed this advice, Republican politicians will no longer be able to win primaries by out-lunaticiking their opponents. Instead, they will have to demonstrate their reasonableness and willingness to actually solve problems.

Do you really want Trump to hate people who not that long ago could pass for real Republicans (like Liz Cheney, Adam Kinzinger and Brad Raffensperger) – more than you?

C’mon, click below. Become a RINO Today. It takes about three minutes. You don’t even need a stamp. And if you change your mind, it takes another three minutes, and you can go back to being what Trump thinks is not the lowest form of human life.

Family Learning To Luge

Want to Try Luge? From Lower Merion, It Starts With a Drive to Lake Placid

I was watching the Luge on NBC over the weekend. I thought it was boring, especially when juxtaposed against the more dramatic events, like curling.  The color commentator kept explaining how each “slider” was doing something slightly better or worse than the others, but to my untrained eye, they all looked the same: feet first, […]

f you’re looking for a break from screens, alerts, and endless scrolling, the Philly Pen Show might be the cure—at least temporarily. It’s an unapologetically analog event: pens, paper, ink, and the people who still care deeply about them. Whether you’re a serious collector, someone who misses the feel of writing by hand, or just […]
