LM Boys Soccer – Second Half Comeback Falls Short. Conestoga Wins Central League Title

The boys’ varsity soccer team won their championship match against Lower Merion on Saturday, Nov. 21.  ’Stoga took a commanding 3-0 lead going into halftime with goals scored by freshman Ryan Zellefrow and Central League MVP Tyson Burling. Lower Merion started coming back with two unanswered goals in the opening minutes of the second half, cutting the Pioneers’ lead down to one. Despite the setback, the Pioneers persisted with two more goals from juniors Jake Albertson and Sebastian Tis, defeating the Aces 5-3 to take the Central League crown

25-23, 25-27, 25-23, 25-22; Aces Settle For Runners-up in Central League Girls Volleyball Final

Lower Merion’s Girl’s Volleyball was the only team that was able to Garnet Valley during the regular season, but in yesterday’s nerve-wracking final, the Jaguar’s escaped with their fifth consecutive Central League Championship.
