Holy War – AKA St. Joe’s Vs. Villanova – Is On, Saturday Night
From Villanova.com – Villanova will host Philadelphia Big Five rival Saint Joseph’s on Saturday at Finneran Pavilion at 9 p.m., it was announced today. The game will air nationally on FS1 and the Villanova radio broadcast can be found on 95.7 Ben FM.

The Wildcats (6-1 overall, 2-0 BIG EAST) and Hawks were originally scheduled to meet on Nov. 30 at Finneran Pavilion. A COVID-19 issue within the Saint Joseph’s program forced that meeting to be scrubbed. Villanova instead remained in Uncasville, Conn., and played Virginia Tech in its third game of 2020-21.
Villanova was slated to meet Virginia on Saturday evening at Madison Square Garden. However, that game was cancelled Wednesday due to a COVID-19 pause at Virginia.
