Next month, DiBruno Brothers will be opening an 8,000 square foot Italian Marketplace at 375 West Lancaster Avenue in Downtown Wayne. According to Metro Philly “The new Wayne location will also offer a cafe serving expertly brewed beverages and pairings; a Rosticceria, serving a variety of rotisserie meats, sides and more; a Salumi & Seacuterie Counter, offering a wide selection of caviar, smoked fish and their famous assortment of cured meats from around the world; The Pane & Dulce counter with house-made pastries by Chef James, baked goods, cakes and an assortment of other desserts; and even a gelato cart that is planned to open in the summer. “
Wayne will be one of three DiBruno’s locations (not Ardmore) where they will be selling a new wine that is being described as partnership between DiBruno Brothers and La Clarine Farm, in Somerset California. According to PhillyVoice.com, “The wine, called Di Bruno & Friends Wine Collaboration No. 1, is a blend of 50% Barbera and 50% Zinfandel grapes. It’s the first in a series. Di Bruno Bros. staff, spearheaded by Sande Friedman, a wine category manager and president of Philly Wine Cru, partnered with La Clarine Farm, located in the Sierra Foothills in Somerset, California, to create the wine. Only 51 cases were produced. The price is $39.99 per bottle.”
