The official Facebook and Twitter pages of the Montgomery County Republican Committee, not without justification, called attention to the hypocrisy of Narberth Mayor Andrea Deutsch, who posed maskless with Governor Tom Wolf, a few feet away from a sign that declared “Face coverings are mandatory in this area.”
Our local GOP also noted that the basketball courts in Narberth are still closed.
And the Montco GOP had what to say about the Republican efforts to limit abortion rights?
Having nailed the Democrats for committing Mask Hypocrisy, Montco GOP chose not to weigh in on the recent anti-abortion bills that Republican legislators recently introduced.
One bill, in particular, the Unborn Child Dignity Act which requires women who suffer miscarriages to provide a proper burial for their unborn fetuses. A person who violates the Unborn Child Dignity Act would be “subject to the penalties imposed under Article IX of the act of June 29, 1953 (P.L.304, No.66), known as the Vital Statistics.”
