Lenny Dykstra Tweets In Support Of Mastriano

by Gerry

Don’t retreat. Fuck Corman and these insidious RINOs. @DanielsCongress @SenMastriano @dougmastriano @alliesinger @DolansBar @TonyBrunoShow https://t.co/5uWPuheusK

— Lenny Dykstra (@LennyDykstra) August 26, 2021

If you’ve been undecided about the recent intramural airing of dirty laundry among the bright lights in the Pennsylvania GOP, former Phillies star Lenny Dykstra is here to tell help you separate the good guys from the bad guys.

At the risk of being too “Inside Baseball” here’s what this rhubarb is all about.

Until the 2020 Election, Doug Mastriano was an obscure Pennsylvania state senator. But then he decided to run for governor, and he also decided to compete for the title of Most Vocal Election Denier in Pennsylvania (some people think that the two endeavors are not unrelated).

Part of the job of being the Most Vocal Election Denier in Pennsylvania involved attending the “Event” in Washington, D.C. on January 6, then lying about being near the Capitol, then admitting he crossed police lines in front of the Capitol (Mastriano says the lines “moved”).

Also, part of the job of being the Most Vocal Election Denier in Pennsylvania involves going to Arizona to observe their controversial election audit that’s been going on – since nobody can remember when.

Also, part of the job of being The Most Vocal Election Denier in Pennsylvania involves calling for an Arizona-style audit of the 2020 Pennsylvania Election.

Enter State Senate Majority Leader, and fellow Republican, Jake Corman.

Corman decided he didn’t like the job that Mastriano was doing as the Most Vocal Election Denier in Pennsylvania. So Corman fired Mastriano from the chairmanship of the Intergovernmental Committee and replaced him with Senator Chris Dush.

One thing that Mastriano, Corman and Dush probably all agree on is that the Intergovernmental Committee has the authority to issue subpoenas to the counties that could force them to hand over ballots and voting machines to the committee – that would enable the Intergovernmental Committee to properly audit the counties’ handling of the 2020 Election.

On the other hand, Pennsylvania’s Acting Secretary of State Virginia Degraffenreid and her boss, Governor Tom Wolf (both Democrats), both vehemently deny that the Intergovernmental Committee has the authority to demand the evidence that Mastriano was on the verge of issuing subpoenas for, until Corman fired him last week.

If and when the new group that wants to usurp Mastriano from his role as  The Most Vocal Election Denier in Pennsylvania gets around to issuing those suboenas, in all likelihood the 5-2 Democratic Pennsylvania Supreme Court will be called on to decide whether or not they actually have that authority.

Meanwhile, Lenny Dyksra, and others who see things the way Lenny does, and like to call themselves Patriots, are very unhappy with Corman.  And they are demanding that he officially re-instates Mastriano as The Most Vocal Election Denier in Pennsylvania.

Family Learning To Luge

Want to Try Luge? From Lower Merion, It Starts With a Drive to Lake Placid

I was watching the Luge on NBC over the weekend. I thought it was boring, especially when juxtaposed against the more dramatic events, like curling.  The color commentator kept explaining how each “slider” was doing something slightly better or worse than the others, but to my untrained eye, they all looked the same: feet first, […]

f you’re looking for a break from screens, alerts, and endless scrolling, the Philly Pen Show might be the cure—at least temporarily. It’s an unapologetically analog event: pens, paper, ink, and the people who still care deeply about them.
