I truly wish I could self-fund this project. Unfortunately, it is just far too expensive a process for a former hardware store manager to afford. The minimal equipment I’ve already purchased and the time I’ve spent learning and doing has shown me how pricey it all can be. Laptop, cameras, microphones, external hard drives, editing software, SD cards, tripods, etc. will all add up. There is also a chance I will need to pay for help with production, audio editing, color correction and the sort. I’ve set my funding goal at what I see as the minimum needed to complete this film, so any excess will go towards hiring outside help to make an even better finished product and maybe even expanding the film’s scope.
