Pooh, Pooh, Pooh – Today Montgomery County is reporting that there are 223 county residents hospitalized with Covid-19. That number is well below the 256 county residents who spent Christmas Day in hospitals, with the virus.

The 256 patients reported on December 25, was a steep increase from the 94 reported on Thanksgiving Day (November 25), but it was well below the 669 hospitalized-with-Covid patients reported as recently as January 12. Since then, the number has been dropping even faster than it rose.
Since the January 12 peak, the average daily drop in the number of Montco patients with Covid is 19.3. At this rate, there will be zero patients in Montgomery County, hospitalized with Covid, within two weeks.
