Val Arkoosh Spent $1.46 Million And Got Zero Votes

Montgomery County Commissioner Val Arkoosh ended her campaign for the U.S. Senate on Friday (February) but not before she managed to spend more than $1,460,206.88 between  April 1 and December 31, 2021 – according to a recently released Federal Election Commission (F.E.C.) report. 

The Arkoosh campaign listed $245,272 in payroll costs. The top vendors to whom campaign funds were dispersed were:

  • Authentic Campaigns (Digital Fundraising and Advertising) $296,500
  • Blue Wave Political Partner (Fundraising Consultant) $60,750
  • Run The World (Direct Mail Services) $54,190
  • MBA Consulting (Compliance Consulting) $50,000
  • Rittenhouse Consulting (Fundraising Consultant) $36,583
Arkoosh Spending

In 2014, when Arkoosh ran in the Democratic Primary for U.S. Congress, in a field of four she came in fourth, collecting 9,386 votes. Her campaign expenditures that year totaled $2,084,181.
