Christina Fink ( ‘I did NOT organize a bus to DC on January 6th’) Chairs Lower Merion GOP Lincoln Day Dinner

by Gerry

Christina Fink, Vice-Chair of the Republican Committee of Lower Merion Narberth (RCLMN), who ran unsuccessfully for Lower Merion School Board in 2021, is one of the co-chairs of this year’s Lincoln Day Dinner.

A Big Tent Party and Event

Fink says that “We are focused on being a “Big Tent” party here in Lower Merion and welcome all of you with your many and varied views and concerns.” Presumably, that means those who believe that the 2020 Presidential Election was stolen, and the RINOs who don’t believe the election was stolen – are all welcome into the RCLMN’s Tent and Lincoln Day Dinner.

We NEED YOU to join us on Thursday April 7th!

Dear Lower Merion & Narberth Republicans,

It has been a challenging and difficult few years in many ways.  Our local Republican party here in Lower Merion & Narberth needs your attention, involvement and help to maintain its health and relevancy and provide balance for our community.

We are focused on being a “Big Tent” party here in Lower Merion and welcome all of you with your many and varied views and concerns.  With that in mind, we have planned a interesting evening to join together, learn, bond and raise critical funds to continue to sustain our party’s activities in our local neighborhoods.

Attached is the invitation to our Lincoln Day Dinner which will be held this year on Thursday, April 7th at 6 PM at the Radnor Valley Country Club.  We have an interesting evening planned which includes a talk by the visionary leader of the Lily Pulitzer brand, Scott Beaumont and an  update on Pennsylvania’s redistricting and election integrity efforts  by our Montgomery County Republican Chair, Liz Preate Havey.

We are also excited to announce that we have commitments by some of our Pennsylvania candidates for Governor and Senate,  including Dr. Oz , Jeff Bartos, Bill McSwain and  Charlie Gerow. We are awaiting additional appearances!  Please be there so that you can meet and evaluate some of our choices as we head towards our Primary Election Day.

This is our ONLY fundraising event benefitting our local Republican party and all of your dollars stay right here in Lower Merion and Narberth.  So please plan on joining us and send back your response card with payment.  If you can’t join us on April 7th, would you consider buying a ticket for a Committee Person or a Young Republican who cannot afford to join us?  Finally, if you cannot join us and do not wish to buy a ticket for another individual, would you please consider a donation to RCLMN and send that with your regrets. We only get funds from our local efforts. We need your contributions and your  involvement.

My father always said that “One Party Rule is Only Good For a Fool!” and we must keep sustaining and growing our Republican party in Lower Merion & Narberth to ensure we and our children keep diverse perspectives in our communities.  That means, even though we are the minority party, we must all provide support for a healthy, thoughtful and resilient local Republican Party.

I look forward to seeing you all on April 7th, 2022.  God Bless America.

Sincerely,

Christina Fink, Vice-Chair RCLMN

Family Learning To Luge

Want to Try Luge? From Lower Merion, It Starts With a Drive to Lake Placid

I was watching the Luge on NBC over the weekend. I thought it was boring, especially when juxtaposed against the more dramatic events, like curling.  The color commentator kept explaining how each “slider” was doing something slightly better or worse than the others, but to my untrained eye, they all looked the same: feet first, […]

January 16-18: The Philly Pen Show — A Delightfully Analog Experience

f you’re looking for a break from screens, alerts, and endless scrolling, the Philly Pen Show might be the cure—at least temporarily. It’s an unapologetically analog event: pens, paper, ink, and the people who still care deeply about them. Whether you’re a serious collector, someone who misses the feel of writing by hand, or just […]
