Highly Rated Poll Shows Surging Kathy Barnette Closing In On Oz And McCormick

by Gerry

The Trafalgar Group (rated an A- by Fivethirtyeight.com) reported on Thursday (April 14)  – that their polling sample, taken between April 11 and April 13, showed Mehmet (Dr.) Oz is slightly ahead in the Republican Senatorial Primary race – with 22.7% of the vote. The poll showed Dave McCormick in second place with 19.7%. Kathy Barnette is in third place with 18.4%. Carla Sands rounds out the field of those polling in double figures, with 11.2%.

According to the poll, Barnette’s support has almost doubled since Trafalgar released the results of a February poll. At that time Oz had 27.4%, McCormick 15.9%, Carla Sands 14.8% and Barnette had only 8.9% of the sample.

Barnette’s dramatically improved position in the current poll is remarkable, considering how little her campaign has spent compared to Oz’s and McCormick’s.

Kathy Barnette 500 Foreign

In 2020 Barnette ran unsuccessfully against Democrat Madeleine Dean in the Pennsylvania’s 4th Congressional Race. After the election Barnette made the claim, without ever providing evidence, that 500 foreigners in Montgomery County had voted in that election.

Family Learning To Luge

Want to Try Luge? From Lower Merion, It Starts With a Drive to Lake Placid

I was watching the Luge on NBC over the weekend. I thought it was boring, especially when juxtaposed against the more dramatic events, like curling.  The color commentator kept explaining how each “slider” was doing something slightly better or worse than the others, but to my untrained eye, they all looked the same: feet first, […]
