Andrew Wyatt is convicted sex offender, Bill Cosby’s, publicist. Yesterday, on Instagram, Wyatt reacted to Eddie Murphy’s monologue on “Saturday Night Live” (December 22, 2019).
At 1:32 Murphy says, “If you told me 30 years ago that I’d be this boring stay-at-home house dad and Bill Cosby would be in jail, even I wouldn’t have took that bet,” [breaking into a Cosby impression] “Who is America’s Dad now?”
Wyatt wrote on Cosby’s Instagram account, ” “It is sad that Mr. Murphy would take this glorious moment of returning to SNL and make disparaging remarks against Mr. Cosby,” the statement said. “One would think that Mr. Murphy was given his freedom to leave the plantation, so that he could make his own decisions; but he decided to sell himself back to being a Hollywood Slave. Stepin Fetchit plus cooning equals the destruction of Black Men in Hollywood.”
Joe Piscipo, who co-starred on SNL with Murphy during the 1980s, recalled a 19-year-old Eddie Murphy getting a phone call from Cosby, who railed against the young comedian for being too dirty.
