Correction – MCDC Was Inappropriately Chastised In A Previous Post

In a previous (now removed) post, I criticized the leadership of the Montgomery County Democratic Committee (MCDC) for what I thought was an unfair use of their official website.

The committee had sent out an announcement of a fundraiser for Amanda Cappelletti, one of eight candidates running for the SD-17 seat.

As it turns out, just last week the committee in its weekly email, had an announcement of an event for one of the other candiates in the race.

Thanks to Ashley Best-Raiten who clarified that in this case, the committee acted fairly; whereas my criticism was unfair.
