Sam Brown scored 19, and Sam Wright contributed 14 points to lead the Lower Merion Aces Varsity Basketball team in a Central League win over the Conestoga Pioneers Tuesday night at Lower Merion – 71-49.
Nine of Brown’s points came in the first quarter as Lower Merion jumped out to a 20-14 lead in a game that saw the Aces in control for almost the entire way.
Lower Merion’s league record improved to 3-1 (5-1 overall), while Conestoga’s dropped to 1-3 (5-3 overall).
The Aces play another home game on Friday night (December 23) against Ridley.
