On Friday night (January 27) Bill Maher gave a huge shoutout to Governor Josh Shapiro on his show, Real Time.
Maher praised Shapiro for signing an executive order that eliminates the requirement of a college degree for tens of thousands of state positions. Maher’s guest, the somewhat, sometimes conservative Bari Weiss chimed in with an Amen in support Shapiro’s order. She called it “great politics.” “What Josh Shapiro just did,” she added, “is fabulous. It’s good for the economy, it’s good for Pennsylvania – my home state … and frankly, it’s a thumb in the eye to the higher-ed cartel in this country. But it’s fabulous for a party that is now totally associated with the urban elite.”
