Signbearers and flag-wavers braved the weather and filled both sides of Lancaster Avenue on Saturday morning (June 14), participating in what was arguably the largest crowd ever assembled for a political protest in Lower Merion. Traffic on the street was not blocked, and many motorists expressed their support for the protesters, adding to the spectacle by honking their horns as they made way along Lancaster Avenue.
At the Ardmore rally, a festive spirit prevailed—even as the signs underscored the urgency and gravity of the movement’s message.
