Amid Covid Mini-Spike, New Drive-Thru Test Site To Open In Ardmore

Worst  Single Day Since Mid-May

Lower Merion

According to the most recent reporting by Montgomery County, Lower Merion experienced 11 new cases (July 2-3 interval), its highest number of new cases in a single day since May 15-16 (15). It was the township’s 11th highest single day of new cases reported since the county began tracking the spread of Covid-19 (March 19-20).

Armore Covid Testing

The county commissioners (all three of them!) announced on July 1,  that a new drive-thru testing site would be opening on Monday, July 6 at 114 W. Lancaster Ave. (Parking lot next to iHop.)

There is also a drive-thru Covid test site at the Gladwyne Health Mart Pharmacy, located at 352 Righters Mill Road.

Covid Test Who Pays

According to the county website, all of the insurance carriers in Pennsylvania have waived co-pays for Covid-19 testing.

And presumably, all Pennsylvanians have some kind of health insurance.

It could be a lot worse.
