Planning Commission Set To Hear 15-Building Bala/City Line Plan

Tonight at 7:00 PM, the Lower Merion Planning Commission will again be discussing a Preliminary Land Development Plan for what has been described as the largest development plan in the history of the township. The applicant is Alfred Fuscaldo, an attorney representing Bala Plaza Property, which is owned, by Tishman Speyer, a large international investment firm. 

Bala Plaza Property first presented two tentative sketch plans to the Planning Commission in December of 2019.

Officially, the plan is called 231 & 251 St. Asaph’s Road, One and Three Bala Plaza & 333 E. City Avenue, Two Bala Plaza, Bala Cynwyd. LD# 3819 and 3820. Ward 9

  • Three 13-Story Towers
  • 2,638 New Parking Spaces

  • A Hotel

  • An Outdoor Amphitheater

  • A 1.6 Acre Public Gathering Spac
