Covid Surge In Montco Appears To Have Peaked

The surge in the number of Montgomery County residents hospitalized with Covid-19, which began right after Thanksgiving, appears to have peaked. On November 25, there were only 95 county residents hospitalized with Covid. By Christmas Day, there were 221. There were 369 on New Years Day. By January 8 there were 605 cases. Montco Covid Hospitalizations Are At An All-Time High

According to the Montgomery County Covid-19 Data Hub, there are currently more patients hospitalized with Covid than ever before. The 570 county residents currently hospitalized with Covid eclipses the previous high of 546, set on December 14, 2020.
